Metz’s Christmas market ranked 3rd et 1st for Families in the competition “Best Christmas Markets”
After 8 days of voting and intense mobilisation, the agency Inspire Metz and its partners are happy to announce that the Christmas Market in Metz has been ranked in the competition organised by “European Best Destinations”:
3rd best Christmas Market in Europe
and 1st Christmas Market in Europe in the “Family” category
It is high recognition, particularly for the family target audience, which is a key challenge for the tourist destination, especially as the competition was particularly strong this year. Competing destinations included well-known cities: Brussels, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, London and Bruges...
Classed 3rd in 2021 and 7th in 2019, Metz achieved a high performance with 52 830 votes out of 593 992 votes in total, therefore holding on to its top 3 place and confirming its position as the 1st Christmas Market in France, ahead of Montbéliard. NB. the organisers highlighted the creativity of Metz's campaign.
This year the podium, in order, was: Budapest, Craiova, Metz.
